Time line: January 2025 –March 2025
In early 2025, we identified the Steel Barricades product list page as a critical opportunity. Despite being one of the highest-traffic pages on the site, it had a 77% bounce rate on mobile and only 8 seconds of average engagement. Users weren’t finding what they needed — fast enough.
We redesigned the page to make product discovery effortless. Filters were prioritized based on real usage data and customer interviews. High-value specs like length, finish, and standard were brought into product cards, while layout and visual hierarchy were restructured to support quick scanning and comparison. The result: a cleaner, more targeted experience that aligned with how customers actually shop.
The new interface offered faster filtering, better visual confirmation, and fewer clicks to reach relevant products. Product cards became more informative at a glance, while allowing flexibility to compare across categories.
Initial feedback and usage patterns confirmed we were on the right path: users interacted more with filters, spent longer on the page, and relied less on the search bar. With full rollout expected soon, we anticipate at least a 20% reduction in bounce rate and a 10% increase in quote requests — both realistic goals considering the baseline metrics and the improvements already seen in early usage.
